WATCH: Tommy Gloss celebrates his 70th

With a career spanning over 53 years, Tommy Gloss celebrated his 70th birthday with a performance.

Tommy Gloss celebrated his 70th birthday in true fashion, performing with other well-known artists at Ferns Sports Bar on November 15.

“It was so heartwarming,” said Tommy. He said his heart was so glad to see all of the friends and family who came to surprise him on the day.

Tommy was joined on stage by Manie Jackson, Tommy Dell, JJ Stevens and a whole host of other singers from Lapietso Music.

Tommy has a long and storied history in the music industry. His career spans over 53 years with steady performances at several establishments in the South.

“My favourite parts of the industry are the people and their faces when you perform. You can make people laugh and you can make people cry. It is a way to truly make people happy,” said Tommy.

“The friendships I have made are very important for me. Both with other artists and with the people at the places I work. Friendship can mean so much more than family.”

Tommy wants to extend his heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the birthday bash and attended, thus making it such a special occasion. He wants to add a special thank you to Ferns, Lapietso Music and the artist who performed on the day.
