The month of March saw the senior citizens of Annie Burger Retirement Village being treated to gifts and a fun-filled day. The team served up delicious chicken akhnee, warming the spirits and appetites of the residents.
The eventful day ended with uncle Baboo and his crew serving akhnee and biscuits in Riverlea Extension and Zombie Town.
Next on their March list was Chrisville, an area with a high poverty and unemployment rate. Residents tucked into servings of yummy mutton akhnee, prepared under uncle Baboo’s skilful hand.
The grateful residents extended their thanks to the team with hearts of gold, marking an end to a soul-enriching day.
His deep love for the elderly also found uncle Baboo serving fresh, hot chicken and mutton akhnee to the elderly inhabitants of Nancefield Retirement Village.
More than the food, the seniors are always grateful for the good company of the crew and thoroughly enjoyed the eventful day.
