R32 015 was raised by the school during the Shavathon.
Marist Brothers Linmeyer had a Cansa Shavathon on April 5 at the school to help raise funds for Cansa.
The event, which was organised by the Marist Brothers Linmeyer Alumni, saw the school raise R32 015 for Cansa.
Tim Leibbrandt, a Grade Seven teacher, challenged his class to raise a total of R1 000 then he will shave off all his hair. To Leibbrandt’s surprise his class raised a total of R1 286, meaning he had to shave off all his hair.

The day was a fun day with an old learner from Marist Brothers Linmeyer and a member of the alumni, Cole Audy, coming through to DJ during the function.
Just Darling Coffee stall also pledged 50% of their earnings on the day to Cansa.
