Uncle Baboo and Crew place the community first

More people benefit from Uncle Baboo and Crew's food.

Uncle Baboo and Crew prepared two dhegs of akhni on May 14 for the people of the South.

Uncle Baboo said one dheg was given to a family in distress from Bellavista.

“A lady tragically lost her life yesterday in a car accident and the food was used to feed those attending her funeral. We pray that the Almighty gives strength to the family during this difficult time,” he said.

The other dheg of akhni was packaged and distributed to the residents of the Annie Burger Retirement Village.

“The joy of our elders at receiving our fresh meals are evident on their faces.

“We also distributed bread and akhni to all those on the street corners looking for work and went to Klein Dorpies.

“A special thank you to our volunteers and sponsors for your assistance,” noted Uncle Baboo.
