Amcare thanks local entities for making their mission a success
To make the most vulnerable people feel special, Amcare gathered with four different organisations to cater for the disadvantaged individuals in the greater Alberton community on November 29 and 30.
Amcare sincerely thanks local organisations that helped them achieve their yearly desired mission of making one smile during every December festival.
Santa Shoe Box
Amcare and Santa’s Shoe Box collaborated to spread holiday pleasure to the children in Eden Park, Greenfields, and Phola Park on November 29 and 30.
Amcare thanks Santa Shoe Box for making it possible.
Amcare’s fundraising officer, Ayanda Mlambo, thanked everyone who contributed towards this initiative because Santa Shoe Box was able to provide 320 kids gifts of toys, clothing, stationery, and toiletries.
Bridge Church
Amcare would like to express its sincere gratitude to Bridge Church for the kind donation of party packs and hotdogs, which allowed them to make the children’s days memorable and successful.
“Your support plays an important role in furthering the goals of the organisation and we will forever be grateful. We managed to fill our children’s tummies with some delicious hotdogs, and awesome party packs and the ice cream to end off the scorching day, and all thanks to you and your team. We truly appreciate your commitment to helping us, we wouldn’t have done without you,” said Amcare’s fundraising officer.
The 2022 Motorcycle Toy Run
Amcare pays special thanks to everyone at the Toy Run for their donations of boxes of popcorn and teddy bears on November 27.
“Teddies are just another reason, just another way to say I care, and I will be there forever. Our kids were very happy to receive the warm and fuzzy toys and popcorn. Thank you,” said Ayanda.
SPAR South Rand
Amcare gratefully acknowledges My SPAR’s kind donation to their Victim Empowerment Programme.
“We are grateful for your continued support. Thank you for recognizing the work that we do in the community,” Ayanda concluded.
