Help the Johannesburg Society for the Blind’s young artists raise funds to perform at the National Arts Festival in Makhanda (Grahamstown) later this month.

They will hold the June 17 fundraiser at the Society on 159 North Road, Roseacre.

Expect entertainment on the day, with the first show at 11:00 and the second at 14:00.

Join them for a thrilling and inspirational event, The Stories We See, where able-bodied youth from Joburg Child Welfare and visually impaired youth from the society come together to use sound to communicate.

They will explore various environments and create a sense of togetherness and inclusivity through choreography.
When you buy a ticket, you become a part of their success story. Witness each performer’s passion as they pour their heart and soul into their craft.

This isn’t just an opportunity to see a fantastic show, it’s also an opportunity to make a difference. When you get your ticket, you can donate one to a young person who might not otherwise be able to attend. Purchase your tickets now at Computicket, Shoprite, and Checkers and help make a difference.

If you want to contribute to the tour to Makhanda, contact Nkosana Kubheka, the COO of the Johannesburg Society for the Blind, on 011 045 04431 or 076 107 9337.

Join the Society for the Blind on June 17.
