Local student claims top honors in Eisteddfod creative writing competition

Alberton High Student, Jordan Do O Faustino, made in Eisteddfod Competition as he emerged as a winner at the Eistedfford creative writing competition.

Alberton High School’s Jordan Do O Faustino recently secured the coveted title of item winner in the Eisteddfod creative writing competition for Grades 11 to 12.

Jordan’s triumph shone brightly amid a staggering pool of entries numbering around 20 000.

The Eisteddfod, a renowned platform for young talents across South Africa, attracts students from far and wide to showcase their creative abilities. Amid fierce competition, Jordan rose to the occasion, leaving a lasting impression with his exceptional writing skills.

Speaking about this remarkable achievement, Jordan’s mom, Jeanne, expressed her sheer joy and pride, saying, “I have never experienced something like this before.
