AA Salvage donation helps Sharing Kindness Foundation feed people in Joburg

Businesses team up to support community outreach programme

Sharing Kindness Foundation (SKF) thanked AA Salvage for its donation of non-perishable food, which is now helping vulnerable families and students across Gauteng.

The organisation said it rarely receives donations of non-perishable food, making last week’s contribution from AA Salvage especially valuable. The items will go directly toward the foundation’s feeding and outreach programme.

The foundation helped 110 struggling pensioners across Johannesburg and Johannesburg South.

Nic Janse van Rensburg, founder of SKF, said the donation highlights the impact of local businesses stepping up.

“It is not often that we receive dry goods donations, so we were especially grateful when we visited AA Salvage. The support comes at a critical time as food insecurity continues to affect all residents. Your kindness will put meals on tables for people who really need them. It reminds us that when businesses and communities work together, we can make a real difference in someone’s life,” Van Rensburg said.

The foundation also expressed its thanks to the Gimel Foundation for its ongoing support of communities in Krugersdorp.
