Southgate Mall hosts a ‘brush and brunch’ for Mother’s Day
Mothers had the honour of celebrating their special day at Southgate Mall.
Southgate Mall held a ‘brush and brunch’ event to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 11, allowing mothers and their children to have a bonding moment.
People had to spend R350 at any shop of their choice and redeem their tickets at the mall information desk.
The event had live music, crafts, goodies, and beautiful decor that captured every person’s eye at the mall.
The day was filled with love, laughter, and forever-lasting memories as the attendees drew something and painted their drawings to bring them to life.
Mbali Mahlori, marketing manager for Southgate Mall, highlighted the importance of this event and declared the event as successful.
“It was important for Southgate Mall to celebrate the diverse community of mothers who shop at Southgate Mall. Spoiling our customers and creating memories is central to our mission of fostering a strong community.
“By providing a unique artistic and therapeutic experience, we ensured every mom felt appreciated and pampered, enhancing the sense of community and connection among our customers.
“We witnessed full attendance on both days, which speaks volumes about its appeal. The profound emotional reactions from the mothers and families in attendance highlighted the event’s impact,” explained Mahlori.
The event concluded with the attendees receiving food packs prepared by the Southgate staff.
