Methodist Church Women’s Manyano Cancer Walk
The walk gives hope to those who are hopeless.
The first of its kind, the Methodist Church Women’s Manyano of the Central District under the presidency of Girly Lekeka in collaboration with Clinix Health Group recently held an event to celebrate cancer survivors.
The walk aimed to encourage those who are still battling and held in memory those who lost the battle. Themed Walk of Hope, it was held at the President High School.
Walk of Hope is an imaginary journey of a cancer patient in the still of the night when it’s quiet and all are asleep and alone in pain and with anxiety keeps thinking will I make it to see the dawn of tomorrow.

The Women’s Manyano had a lot of survivors attending at Breast Cancer Clinic in Baragweanath and at the oncology department in Hellen Joseph.
They shared the night with them, with a walk around the school sports field, worship, candlelight prayer services and of course, some aerobics.
