TLC Children’s Centre has become a place of care for many children, ensuring no child is left behind.
When three-year-old Thabo arrived at TLC Children’s Centre one morning, it was clear he had a tough start to his day.
According to TLC, the little boy was exhausted and hungry; he walked slowly and appeared fatigued. Like many vulnerable children in the community, Thabo faced a difficult morning with no breakfast, no place to rest, and uncertainty about what the day would bring.
However, his day took a turn for the better as soon as he entered the doors of TLC. He was welcomed with a warm greeting by name and given a nutritious meal.
The caring staff at the centre helped ease his worries, offering him a sense of security that he had not experienced yet that day. After his meal, Thabo was taken to a space where he could rest. In this calm and secure environment, he could sleep – a luxury many children in difficult situations often lack.
For those few hours, Thabo was not just getting by but receiving the care and attention every child deserves.
