Metro World Child feeds school learners in Joburg south

Metro World Child SA nourishes hungry kids at Lehae Settlement in Eikenhof.

Metro World Child South Africa (MWC) is making a difference in the lives of children in the Lehae settlement in Eikenhof through its weekly feeding programme.

Every Saturday, the organisation provides sandwiches and snacks to kids and school learners attending extra classes in the area.

The initiative aims to support the community’s most vulnerable members, ensuring they have access to basic necessities.

Metro World Child, director Glisson Niekerk said, “We’re humbled to serve these incredible kids and see the impact our small efforts make. Their smiles fuel our passion to do more.”

The feeding programme has become a beacon of hope for the community, with many learners relying on the meals to focus in class.

The organisation welcomes volunteers and donations to continue their vital work. For more information, visit the MWC website at metroworldkidscpt.co.za or contact 073 740 1657.
