Community spirit was on full display during father’s day.

Waterstone College turned Father’s Day into a morning of laughter, sport and connection as it proudly hosted its Feeder Schools Father’s Day Event, bringing fathers and children together for quality time.

The school described it as “an incredible day” filled with fun, meaningful interactions, and moments that families will remember.

The event gave parents and children from feeder schools the chance to interact, get to know one another, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories.

No Father’s Day celebration would be complete without friendly competition, and the highlight of the day was an exciting game of football.

Dads and children took to the field together, united by their shared love for the beautiful game.

Waterstone said the energy, teamwork and sportsmanship on display made for an unforgettable experience, with fathers and kids cheering each other on and sharing moments that truly matter.

Beyond the football, the event was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect and for the Waterstone community spirit to shine.

Fathers spent quality time with their children while meeting other families in the feeder school network.

“A huge thank you to all the fathers and families who joined us and helped make the day such a tremendous success,” said Waterstone College Executive Head, Ms Kerry Bailey.

“Your involvement and enthusiasm are what make our Waterstone community so special.”

The Father’s Day gathering forms part of Waterstone College’s efforts to build strong relationships between the school, feeder schools and families, creating a supportive environment for learners beyond the classroom.
