WATCH: Sharing Kindness Foundation feeds up to 200 children daily in Jackson informal settlement

Sharing Kindness Foundation serves Jackson informal settlement children during outreach.

The Sharing Kindness Foundation (SKF) was at the Jackson Informal Settlement on July 20 for another community outreach.

The outreach was part of an initiative in which between 150 and 200 children receive a meal every day.

The foundation’s volunteers faithfully prepared and served meals to children in the settlement to address daily hunger and restore dignity and hope to vulnerable families.

The foundation thanked several partners whose donations made the outreach possible.

Alberton LewenSentrum Gemeente donated fresh vegetables, Resthaven Ministries contributed additional vegetables, and Rainbowtarps and Sandlinings provided meat to support more nutritious meals.

Nic Janse van Rensberg, founder of SKF, said the work reflects the power of collective compassion.

“Kindness and generosity are making a real difference in the lives of so many children. Together, we are sharing hope, restoring dignity, and reminding our community that no one is alone. The commitment to feeding 150 to 200 children daily is extraordinary, and we are honoured to stand beside our partners to keep this going,” Janse van Rensberg said.
