Perfect Stroke is in the swim of things

Top swimmer Erin Graham achieved a Senior National qualifying time.

PERFECT Stroke Swimming Club is extremely proud of their 2014/2015 end of season results.

At the South African level three nationals, top swimmer Erin Graham achieved a senior national qualifying time which will allow her to compete at the Olympic trials in April 2016. Darielle Naubereit achieved youth national qualifying times and Brad Gunther performed extremely well placing in the top 12 in South Africa for his 1 500m freestyle swim.

The clubs’ up and coming swimmers who competed at both the SA level one and two regionals in March, also performed extremely well bringing home a total of six gold, one silver and nine bronze medals. The medal winners were Trent Graham, Cade Moreira, Joshua Swanepoel, Thomas Woodhead, Samantha Mc Nicol, Makayla Vieira and Tatum White.

The young club swimmers will be setting their sights on even greater achievements in the new season. At the CGA level zero end of season gala, the swimmers brought home an incredible 23 gold, nine silver and nine bronze medals placing this small club second overall in Gauteng.

CGA medal winners were Stephanie Baigrie, Tristyn Benham, Kade Benson, Dean Bruggeman, Sidney Coetzee, Matthew De Gouveia, Shannon Linklater, Hazel Maritz, Alisandro Pinheiro, Keanu Santo, Erin Sherwood, Dhilka Sookdev, Ethan Souter, Shannon Souter, Kasia Szejwallo-Graney and Tristan Tutt.
