New level for performance at The Unlimited Titans

Partnership between The Unlimited Titans and Sage VIP HR and Payroll.

“THIS is a first for us to partner with a leading developer for personnel performance management,” said Jacques Faul, CEO of the Unlimited Titans.

The Unlimited Titans, arguably South Africa’s most dominant cricket franchise in the first 13 years of the new millennium, partnered with Sage VIP HR and Payroll, which was announced on Tuesday January 21.

“We will mainly start this process with our coaching staff and then move on towards the rest of the staff members,” he said. “This will take our franchise to another level and hopefully we will be the front-runners in the sporting industry in South Africa.”

The move was initiated in order to take sport administration to a new level of efficiency by implementing best practices from the corporate world in a scientific manner.

“The administrative personnel, the board, the coaches and the players will be assessed according to key performance indicators,” he said.

“In sport administration, players, management and even the board can be adversely affected by a work culture dominated by off-the-field challenges.

“Eventually that will influence the bottom line. Players’ performances on the field and financial sustainability will suffer if the work culture is not conducive to stimulate a winning culture,” said Faul.

“We are supporting our local cricket team for a very long period and is very proud to be associated with them in this way,” said Anton van Heerden, Managing Director of Sage VIP HR and Payroll. “It is very important for a sport to manage their staff members and we are pleased to be of help.

“Sage VIP is passionate about South African sport. We are proud to partner with the Unlimited Titans to provide them with a world-class performance management system to help them achieve their goal of managing their employees successfully. More than 5 000 companies use our Sage VIP performance management systems annually.”
