Suspension of Joburg Property Company executives
The decision was noted by the mayoral committee on September 3.

The CEO of the Joburg Property Company, Helen Botes, and the entity’s CFO, Imraan Bhamjee, have been placed on precautionary suspension as from September 4.
Mlimandlela Ndamase, mayoral communications director said: “The suspensions follow a resolution of the board to this effect on September 2, following allegations of misconduct levelled against the entity’s management, which first came to light at the start of June.
“The board resolved that it would be in the best interests to speedily conclude the external independent forensic investigation of the officials’ alleged conduct and that they be suspended on full pay for a period not exceeding three months.
“The decision was noted by the mayoral committee on September 3,” he said.
