Fun-filled day for Johannesburg Society for the Blind

Infinity Foundation donated items such as walking sticks, tablets, abacus, drums and sets of pestle and mortars.

As part of Heritage Day, Infinity Foundation paid Johannesburg Society for the Blind a visit on September 24.

The foundation organised a wellness day where medical screening was offered for the entity’s beneficiaries.

The foundation organised podiatrists in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg and dentists to screen beneficiaries.

According to Nkosana Kubheka of Johannesburg Society for the Blind, the fun-filled day started with tasty treats served to those present on the day.

“Entertainment was also provided, as the Infinity group organised well-known DJs who entertained us. While some were being screened, others were provided manicures, pedicures and face painting. And the Johannesburg Society for the Blind choir performed a few items,” he said.

“The youth at Johannesburg Society for the Blind performed a tribute to their cultures, in celebration of Heritage Day. A few individuals were dressed in their cultural attire as well. We thank the foundation for the contribution,” he said.
