The King of Street Rap is back

Artist called to submit their music to get a chance of performing at the annual King of Street Rap.

The annual Slaghuis Street of King Rap will be taking place at the Slaghuis studios at Zone 4, Red Show street house number 19117 on November 30.

The King of Street Rap competition has paved ways for artists like Pro-Kid, F eezy, Zulu Mobb and 985 in the music industry.

The organiser Enzo Slaghuis said that the competition allows talented artists the opportunity to express freedom through a music entertainment platform that will contribute to the sustenance of creativity and art.

“Rap competitions are about battle raps and freestyles but this contest focuses on the art of writing hip hop music that move the audience. The event includes a range of activities such as video screenings, exhibition stalls and live performances,” he said.

Slaghuis has invited unsigned rappers in South Africa like; Pin Code (Cape Town), Elijah (Port Elizabeth), En Gee (Durban), Sam Punch lines (Vaal), Lolli (Pretoria), Maseven (Johannesburg) to compete for the crown as the King of Street Rap.
