Parents at Thabong Creche are accusing their principal of mismanaging funds and want her out.
The principal has been running the crèche since the 1990s.
In August 2013, during quarterly meetings at the crèche, parents asked where their fundraising money was going.
They asked for a financial report from the principal and she could not give them one.
The chairperson of the parent’s committee, Ivy Mofokeng, said: “She brought the financial statement weeks later.
“When she did it, the figures did not balance.”
Mofokeng said they have raised money but there is no money in the crèche’s bank account.
Efforts to get a hold of the principal were unsuccessful.
More meetings will be held to sort the matter out.
