PUBS outline 2014 plan

Year plan outlined by PUBS.

The Pimville United Brotherhood Society (PUBS) met recently to outline their plan for 2014.

PUBS is a community organisation that also serves as a burial society.

According to Tshepo Vana, the chairperson of the organisation, participants meet on the first Sunday of each month and socialise while also paying their dues.

The 50-member society was formed last year and aims to impact the community positively.

“Our aim is to assist in community projects and social issues that affect Pimville.

“We have established four sub-committees, DC, Social Development, Entertainment and Funeral Committee,” Vana said.

With the leadership that consists of himself as chairman, Tebogo Masete as his vice, Thandi Yende as secretary, Sibongile Ngwenya is deputy second and Khosi Dubazana as treasurer, the society is set to make strides in Pimville.
