Pupils access fresh vegetables daily

Bapedi pupils benefit from Food Lovers Market.

The Food Lovers Market in Diepkloof Square has committed to providing fresh vegetables for Bapedi Primary School for the whole year.

The principal for Bapedi Primary Wilson Magodi said that the partnership was forged by the Diepkloof Square Management.

“We get food for the feeding scheme butt not too many vegetables. We are very grateful to Food Lovers Market that they have committed into feeding the pupils for the whole year,” he said.

Magodi said that they have an agreement with Food lovers Market to pick up the vegetables Monday to Friday.

“We get the vegetables every school day and they are fresh. The pupils from disadvantaged families now have access to fresh vegetables and a stable healthy diet. The shop sends two staff members daily to make sure that the vegetables are used for the children’s lunch,” he said.
