Dizzy laid to rest in a memorable burial
Community mourns the death of fellow comrade.

The late Regina ‘Dizzy’ Njikelana was laid to rest on February 23 at the Roodepoort Cemetery, Bramfischerville.
Njikelana passed away after she was involved in a car accident in Dobsonville a week ago.
Councillors, neighbours, friends, employees, block committees, reps from Soweto Business Forum and business advisors paid tribute during a ceremony held at the Bramfischer Multipurpose Hall.
After the programme was complete, ANC Women’s League carried the coffin out of the hall and passed it on to a group of men who carried it into the hearse after walking five kilometres holding it over their shoulders.
People sang and danced as they marched in front of the hearse all the way to the cemetery.
According to a family friend, Thomas Makhubela thanked all the people who supported the family ever since the day of the incident.
“We appreciate what you all have done for the family,” he said.
