Job summit for youth

NYDA is hoping to promote opportunities for youth in Eldos.

Youth between the ages of 14 and 35 are invited to attend a job summit.

It is aimed at sharing information and finding creative solutions to fight unemployment.

The theme of the summit is: using entrepreneurship to create sustainable jobs and promoting a future with decent work for youth.

Discussions will include topic such as access to employment opportunities, decent work for youth and entrepreneurship to create jobs.

The summit will be held with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) where Human Settlements MEC will address residents.

The Jobs for Youth Summit will bring together a range of government departments, civil society groups and private sector stakeholders to share information about their products and services available to youth.

It will take place at the Don Mateman Hall in Extension five on October 7 from 9:30 am.
