JW cancels water disruption schedule

The City’s water and sanitation service provider Johannesburg Water (JW) has cancelled the scheduled water interruption that was meant to last from January 24 to the 25.

JW spokesperson Eleanor Mavimbela says the planned water disruption schedule for Rand Water to do maintenance at the Eikenhof Pump Station has been cancelled.

Mavimbela says the reason for cancelling is that the entities are scheduling a new date and time for maintenance to happen.

“We are going to issue a notice prior to the water disruption once we’ve decided on the date and time,” she said.

JW apologises for any inconvenience caused.
