Load shedding has been implemented today and will end at 11pm tonight, this is according to Eskom spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe.
This is to relieve the ongoing pressure on the national supply.
The power cuts will continue for the rest of the month.
Eskom has warned the public to conserve energy.
