Form a neighbourhood watch to reduce crime
Neighbours should form a group on Whatsapp to communicate suspicious activity.
Eldorado Park police are encouraging residents to form neighbourhood watches as this could bring crime levels down.
They made 11 arrests in the past 24 hours, majority of them for house burglaries.
By forming groups on Whatsapp, neighbours can communicate easily with each other.
“Get to know your neighbours and inform them when you will be away from home so that they can keep an eye on your home.
“Only tell people who you trust,” Gugulethu Radebe, communications intern said.
