Health Minister admitted to hospital

The Minister is diagnosed with Pneumonia and he is now receiving treatment under supervision.

Health Minister, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, has been admitted to the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria, for treatment.

“The Minister is diagnosed with Pneumonia and he is now receiving treatment under supervision at the hospital. His condition will be reviewed within 72 hours,” the department said in a statement on Monday.

The Department of Health wishes Minister Motsoaledi a speedy recovery.

In August 2013, the Minister was admitted at Steve Biko Academic Hospital for a planned surgical procedure. – SAnews.gov.za
