Missing Riverlea girl found in Eldos

Mumtahinah Perumal, a 16-year-old girl from Riverlea who was reported missing on Monday was found in Eldorado Park yesterday, February 2.

She apparently didn’t go to school, instead caught a taxi to Southgate Mall where she was picked up by three males in a black Polo.

Coordinates showed she last used her phone in Extension Four Eldorado Park.

A search team was formed with police, family and various organisations yesterday.

Some leads took the team nowhere until they received a photo of the boy she was last seen with.

The team was led to a house in Extension Seven where they found Perumal with the boy and his mother.

She refused to return home.

Perumal was reunited with her family and returned home.
