When she took over the reigns at Sediba Thuto Primary School, Nomahlubi Xama made her mission clear to the SGB, parents, and pupils.
Now her missions are being accomplished slowly but surely and the school has developed tremendously.
“I have a dedicated team of teachers, administrators, and SGB and with the support of the parents and willingness to learn from pupils, the culture of teaching and learning at the school became very much simple.
“Hence it has transformed to being one of the greatest schools in our areas and offering quality education and investing in the future of our children.”
Xaba said that her aim is to make sure that children are given the best education and are protected daily.
“Children have many needs and their needs should be respected more especially their educational needs, we must do everything in our power to make sure that our children get a better education and that will pave their future great.”
Xaba said: “We urge parents not to grow weary in supporting us as teachers, let us work together and improve the education of our children and let’s give them a bright future because they are the future of our country.
“During this holidays parents must make sure that they check their children books, attend parents meeting if there is and also accompany their children to libraries, reading groups or school trips”
