Roots gives competition winners brand new whips

All they had to do was spend R100 or more

For the six months or last year, Roots Butchery ran a customer’s competition and revealed it’s brand new motor vehicle winner on December 17.

The councillor was invited to pick the short list of the participants of the competition who were then called to come collect their prices. The nine competitors were given consolation prices with the one ultimate winner driving away in a brand new car.

Colonel Qwabe won the motor vehicle in the Diepkloof Square Roots Butchery while people like Buyile Yende won a refrigerator as a consolation price.

Excited Qwabe who is a father and husband said, “This could not have been a better festive season for my family and me. I am over the moon.”

The competition has ended for 2016. The butchery will be starting a new competition in May this year. People just need to spend R100 or more at the store, write their cell numbers on the back of the slip along with their names; from there they can just drop their slips off in the entry box at the store.

Zama Mkhwanazi of the Roots Butchery in Diepkloof Square urged people to enter Roots Butchery’s competitions because there are awesome prizes always up for grabs.
