Diepkloof man stabbed to death by angry girlfriend following argument
The cause of the argument is still unknown
On Sunday night in Stadig Tavern at Diepkloof Zone Four, a girlfriend allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death with a beer bottle.
According to Captain Phephi Matlou Mteto: “A young lady had an argument with her boyfriend and a fight broke out between the two.
“It is alleged that the suspect took a bottle and stabbed the boyfriend in the chest.”
The boyfriend died on the scene and the suspect is now in police custody.
Mteto explained that: “It is not yet clear whether the young lady broke the bottle herself or picked it up to use it as a weapon.”
The case is undergoing investigation and the suspect will appear in Orlando Magistrate Court soon.
