Kliptown Police have secured another victory in their fight against crime in Klipspruit West.

This comes after the arrest of a 27-year-old man who has been wanted in connection with a string of business robberies in the area.

“Police were patrolling on St Marina Street when they made the arrest. During the arrest, the man who had been classified as wanted was in possession of an unlicensed firearm,” said police spokesman Captain Hitler Ngwenya.

The suspect is due to appear in the Protea Magistrates Court.
