The Kliptown SAPS duty officer Captain Meyer stipulated that on 2017-03-27 at approximately 23:55, he received a call from the CSC stating about a shooting incident along Mofokeng Street in Pimville.
Upon his arrival, Constable Tshililo Ramolifho was laying on the ground in a pool of blood, his service pistol and bulletproof vest were allegedly removed from his body and taken.
Warrant Officer T Bila further stated that the suspects were driving in a VW Golf when the incident occurred.
The suspects stopped their vehicle in front of them and started shooting towards them.
Constable Ramulifho sustained multiple injuries and he was declared deceased by paramedics upon their arrival.
