Martha Legoale celebrated her 106th birthday at Aushe’s Car wash on Saturday, August 5.

Jepetrus Uithaler took the initiative to make it a heart-warming event for all the well-wishers who came to celebrate Legoale as she reached a milestone that not many will ever see.

Uithaler said, “A special thanks goes out to Aulben Apollis for making his car wash the venue for Legoale’s special day and everybody who attended or helped in any way as well as making this day a memorable one for Martha Legoale and her family.”

Uithaler shed a few tears at the ceremony as she said that “it was not easy sharing moments like this with families when you don’t have your own”.

One of the people who attended described the milestone as ‘a zero shy of being 16’.
