Business unusual for Diepkloof entrepreneurs
She also added that, since former president Thabo Mbeki said that the people should get up and put their hands to good use, she has stood up, but she feels that the people do not receive any help

The funding expo hosted by the Mngoma Empowerment Group (MEG) at the Multipurpose Centre in Diepkloof did more than urge the business owners and entrepreneurs to always break out the box, but it inspired them to strive to have solid and on-point paper work to not miss out on emerging business opportunities.
The group’s founder, Mzi Mngoma welcomed the business owners and entrepreneurs at the centre and mentioned that he had attended the expo with his son Njabulo Mngoma to set an example for him on how to venture in business and liberate himself and the people around him financially.
Mngoma said, “As business owners people should try to always adhere to the paperwork because that’s where most people miss the mark and miss out on good opportunities.”

The funding expo was warmly received and was attended by people from as far as Meadowlands and from Diepkloof, like Mercy Nkabinde of S’thembile, which is a non-profit organisation which deals with farming.

Nkabinde said that her organisation is one of the organisations which combats poverty but up to now, they have not received funding even with proposals created and submitted many a time, they seem not to get anywhere.
She said, “We want to expand so that we will be able to create jobs for the unemployed youth.”
She also added that, since former president Thabo Mbeki said that the people should get up and put their hands to good use, she has stood up, but she feels that the people do not receive any help.

Nomusa Mthembu, who is a medical doctor, also attended the expo to speak about her desire to help the black youth in mathematics and to help them realise it as their birthright.
She said, “Black parents need to empower and support their kids in maths so that they can compete in the subject.”
Mngoma said that people who would also further like to know more about running successful businesses can enrol for the MEG course that will be on offer from this year.
