Mount Hermon in Meadowlands gave back to St Joseph Ithuteng old age home
Concert to raise funds for the old age home.
The Mount Hermon choir which is based in Meadowlands Zone Four held a concert to raise funds so that they can be able to help an old age home in the community.
St Joseph Ithuteng is one of the old age homes which looks after elderly people from the community who can no longer be able to take care of themselves or don’t have anyone who would take care of them as they have grown older.
St Joseph said he is very grateful that the choir was able to think about them as an organisation and that they do encounter problems and need help and donations.
As Mount Hermon did a concert to assist us, it shows that people do care about the organisation and are willing to help.
“This is the first time that ever since there is a choir that has decided to assist us and this is a wonderful thing as they are doing it from the heart,” said Tshabalala.

The Mount Hermon concert was a success as they managed to invite Seeds of Hope and Angels of God to their concert.
Vusi Nkosi organiser of Mount Hermon’s choir said with the money that they raised during the concert the money will help the old age home with the necessities they need and also they would like to pass their gratitude to the Soweto Gospel Choir as they also donated and also stakeholders that contributed in making sure that everything went smooth.
