21 suspects who were arrested for malicious damage to property denied bail
The property which the suspects were found on was the old 'United National Breweries (UNB) - Egoli Brewery building in Links Road, a building which was known for making traditional beer many years ago.
The 21 suspects who were arrested for malicious damage to property appeared in court on July 10 and bail was denied.
As reported in last weeks issue, the suspects were arrested on June 29 at around 3.30pm during an operation conducted by the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) and the Tactical Response Team (TRT) from the Langlaagte police station.

The property which the suspects were found on was the old ‘United National Breweries (UNB) – Egoli Brewery building in Links Road, a building which was known for making traditional beer many years ago.
Since the arrests of these suspects there has not been many individuals on the premises as the Langlaagte police patrols in the area.
Constable Phumi Kraai added in her statement that the suspects will remain in custody until the next court date which is to be confirmed.
