The children from Bapedi Primary School have worked hard ahead of their athletics competition, and on the day of the competition, they must have been honed and determined to represent themselves and the school because they triumphed.

They managed to scoop 13 gold medals for the school plus 3 bronze and 2 silver medals.

Teacher Rosaline Mogapi was thrilled to hang the medals on the young champions necks, she spoke about how the learners have already qualified to go and represent the entire cluster and if they excel as well in those competitions they would go further to represent the entire province.

The principal for the school, Wilson Mogodi explained that in his school they do not only nurture the academic side of the learner, he said, “We spot and refine talent because if these athletic learners continue excelling, but they will also even be able to make a good living.”
