Dagga cake dealers targeting learners in schools.

The love for money has tempered with moral values within the community as dagga cakes dealers are now targeting unsuspecting school kids all in the name of making a quick buck.

A 21-years-old female dagga cake dealer disregards the negative impact of her operation in the health of the young children who ended up in the hospital because of eating cakes laced with dagga.

According to the Dobsonville Police Spokesperson Constable Mzwakhe Xazi, there were complaints after 10 children were taken to hospital for medical attention after consuming dagga cakes.

“Police were later made aware of the incident.

“We were fortunate to get a tip-off from the community about the dealer who was found right-handed dealing nearby the local school in Bramfischerville,” said Constable Xazi.

He urges the community to come forward with the information that would lead to possible more arrests of the suspects dealing with dagga nearby school premises targeting learners.

The female suspect still to appear before the Roodepoort Magistrate Court and the investigation continues.
