Grade 12 learners for this year may feel like they don’t have enough time to prepare for their final exams because of the unique kind of year we have had so far, but Giant-Figure Academy has got their backs with online classes on YouTube.
The online learning academy is a division of a Non-Profitable Organization (NPO) from Protea Glen, Giant-Figure, registered a decade ago.
The academy is dedicated to producing educational videos for YouTube so that any learner who is in need of any explanation or clarification about a lesson can easily access it.

Innocent Vumani Dlamini, the genius who produces, directs, and edits the videos the learners get to catch up on via YouTube explained that the immediate aim of the online academy was for learners to revise on their lessons during the lockdown period and even afterward, Dlamini said, “We consider it of paramount importance for the lessons to be captured on video because we have figured out that it would mean a great deal to some learners since the pandemic has caused such a strain on their academic year for 2020.”
Noticing the constant changes in technology because of the fourth industrial revolution, Giant-Figures’ creative thinkers figured that they could use their skills to help everyone, even the people who don’t have satellite dishes access helpful and informative videos.
The creative thinkers from the company happened to be interested in film making, photography, and graphics designing; their passion to contribute towards society and the film industry using new and innovative ideas inspired them to not only invent new ways for learners to stay up to date, but to stay relevant.
Dlamini said, “We currently have online classes for Grade 12s on our YouTube channel, and we are currently preparing to create lessons for the other grades as well.”
