The greatness that comes with brotherhood

The duo said that what motivated them to release an album is the fact that their EP received a satisfying number of downloads.

Soweto born duo producers, Siyabonga ‘Da Cure’ Makhathinini and Linda ‘Master Lee’ Walaza known as Sounds of Soul (S.O.S) Musiq’s wealth of experience in the music industry has created an impenetrable bond for them in their music career, the duo draws inspiration from amapiaono and says that they are going to take the music industry by storm as they will be releasing their amapiaono debut album called S.O.S Musiq.

“We are excited about this debut album which is guaranteed to be a hit, we named it S.O.S Musiq to draw the attention of our fans, for them to understand what S.O.S Musiq is all about. We are introducing our timeless music and highlighting the greatness that can come with brotherhood,” said Da Cure.

“This album serves as motivation to musicians to say, they need to have faith in their music and believe that change is what they have in their music, you cannot change the world until you change yourself,” he added.

The duo said that what motivated them to release an album is the fact that their EP received a satisfying number of downloads.

“Our previous EP which was released on all digital platforms received quite a motivating number of downloads which encouraged us to start working on this debut album which will be released on Friday, June 25,” Master Lee said.

“Fans can expect great music with unique anonymous sound that will make them dance all night long especially at parties,” he added.

The duo’s musical production skills can be experienced on their newly released single, Umntanomuntu featuring LeeMckrazy and ‘So wela wela’ featuring Mbali and LeeMckrazy on vocals. A great album to look out for and guess what?

The duo says this is just the beginning, expect more greatness in the future. Once they have made their mark in the music industry, they say their long-term goal is to expand their knowledge and share skills with young artists, they also wish to establish an academy and grow their brand to keep South African music alive.
