Getting to know Miss Jnr Eldorado Park 2022
Klipspruit West born Antonay Stevens focuses on creating awareness on teenage pregnancy and substance abuse during her reign as Miss Jnr Eldorado Park.
Antonay Stevens from Klipspruit West was crowned Miss Jnr Eldorado Park 2022. She shared a little more about herself and how her first month has been since her crowning.

The 14-year-old explained that she was actually chosen after the Miss Klipspruit West pageant by Naeema and Nazli Isaacs, the founders of Miss Eldorado Park.
“I am interested in pageantry but my mom entered me in the Miss Klipspruit West.
“I was very nervous, even when I heard that my mother entered me and then I was chosen. It was a very nice experience,” said Stevens.
Miss Jnr Eldorado Park shared that she really enjoyed her first month as the title holder and added that she had so much fun attending the Dance For Your Dream competition on Youth Day.
Her mother, Esmeralda Stevens was also present during the interview, she said: “I entered her to help her gain self-esteem because she had very low self-esteem.
“I wanted her to have fun with other girls because she never interacted with lots of girls.
“Naeema and Nazli Isaacs chose her for the Miss Eldorado Park pageant, and since then she has high self-esteem and she started interacting with other children. I can only thank God today for her bringing home the crown.”
When Stevens completes her matric, she would like to study towards becoming a fashion designer but until then she wants her reign as Miss Jnr Eldorado Park to focus on creating awareness on teenage pregnancy and substance abuse.
“I chose teenage pregnancy because I see how it is ruining young ladies’ lives. They have such big dreams but the pregnancies usually stop them from following their dreams,” she added.

She said that she would like to join more pageants in future and she encourages the youth to follow their heart and follow their dreams.
