Lloyd Cele and Judith Sephuma set to judge Mrs Soweto

The official Mrs Soweto Empowerment Programme has announced singers, Lloyd Cele and Judith Sephuma as judges for the grand finale set to take place on August12.

“We are so overwhelmed by the incredible support for the Mrs Soweto Empowerment Programme and the shared vision of making an impact on the lives of the entrants and the community,” said enthused Dr Tshegofatso Mathe, CEO of Mrs Soweto.

Mrs Soweto is a female empowerment programme with a focus on making an impactful difference in the community.

There are incredible prizes for the winners of Mrs Soweto. Group 1 Renault The Glen will be giving the winner a Renault Kiger for the year of her reign.

The first Official Mrs Soweto will wear a crown which is an original Jenna Clifford creation.

Tulani Hlabangana from Signa Trust announced that they will be sponsoring a three year university bursary including accommodation, stipend and computer for a deserving beneficiary of the Mrs Soweto’s choice.

“We believe in the Power of One and we are committed to changing one person’s life at a time”.

They have also partneedr with iFearless who will provide finalists with access to their on-demand personal safety mobile app which offers 24-hour emergency services.

More exciting news is that they have added a Ms Soweto category for single women.

It is for real women of all sizes who are driven to grow and are passionate about making a difference to their community.

This pageant is to acknowledge and remember the rich heritage of the biggest township in the southern hemisphere.

Soweto has given birth to great leaders and phenomenal strong women. It has and still is a place full of great culture, history, and joy.
