Stolen vehicle recovered from scrapyard in Kliptown

Law enforcement units in Soweto recovered a stolen White Toyota Hilux Legend 45 in a Kliptown scrapyard, acting on a tracker company’s lead.

A joint operation between the Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng traffic wardens’ Special Law Enforcement Unit (SLEU), as well as the Soweto K9 Unit, recovered a stolen vehicle at a scrapyard in Kliptown, Soweto.

Acting on a tip-off from a tracker company, law enforcement officers traced the stolen White Toyota Hilux Legend 45, initially reported stolen in Spartan, to the scrapyard.

The operation, carried out swiftly and efficiently, resulted in the successful recovery of the vehicle.
