Stolen vehicle recovered from scrapyard in Kliptown

A joint operation between the Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng traffic wardens’ Special Law Enforcement Unit (SLEU), as well as the Soweto K9 Unit, recovered a stolen vehicle at a scrapyard in Kliptown, Soweto.

Acting on a tip-off from a tracker company, law enforcement officers traced the stolen White Toyota Hilux Legend 45, initially reported stolen in Spartan, to the scrapyard.

The operation, carried out swiftly and efficiently, resulted in the successful recovery of the vehicle.

Residents in the area praised the police for their efforts and expressed hope that continued operations like this would deter criminal activities in their communities.
