Eldorado Park athletes get ready for Comrades Marathon

The Comrades Marathon is an ultramarathon spanning roughly 90km, it takes place in the KwaZulu-Natal province, connecting the towns of Pietermaritzburg and Durban.

Three local athletics clubs from Eldorado Park are inviting the community to a 10km send-off walk taking place at Cuming Road, Eldorado Park Stadium, on May 25.

Brotherhood, Pegasus and Eldorado Park Athletic Club partnered to organise the walk in support of Comrades Marathon runners who are preparing to participate in one of the world’s largest and oldest ultramarathons, on June 9.

According to Jerome Kenloff from Pegasus AC, everyone is welcomed to join the free walk, from 12:30 pm.
