Local business tackles unemployment

The business is a good opportunity for those wanting to attend culinary schools but cannot afford it.

The Eli Foods and Events restaurant plays a vital role in community development by offering meaningful employment opportunities and fostering economic growth.

The local business launched its second branch on April 5 in Diepkloof Zone 3.

Speaking to the Urban News, the founder and director of Eli Foods and Events, Mfundo Gasa, said that with the youth unemployment rate remaining high, opening the new branch would create several job opportunities for young people and reduce unemployment.
