National Parks Week to show off SA’s beauty
SANP wants South Africans to appreciate their natural surroundings.
This week from September 8 – 12 the country is celebrating the ninth National Parks Week.
The launch of this initiative took place yesterday, brought together by the South African National Parks (SANP), First National Bank (FNB) and Total South Africa to show off the beautiful scenery the country has to offer.
According to SANP, this initiative came up after it was realised that majority of parks in the country were not visited by locals.
During this week residents will be able to get free entry to majority of parks looked after by SANP.
To gain free entry one has to produce their green ID books.
