Home of Talent which specialises in up and coming unsigned Kwaito and House vocalists, will be hosting a talent search at Destiny’s Pub on October 3.
The ‘Home of Talent’ provides unsigned artists the platform to showcase their talent, seeing that a number of these artists face challenges in getting record deals.
It has produced the best in terms of ekasi rap including Siya Shezi and F-ezzy to name a few.
Event organiser and Sedibeng FM producer Jeffrey Nkosi said, “The event is more of a networking platform for the artists.We have a radio show called ‘The home of talent’ on Sedibeng FM 104.8.This is a community radio station based in the Vaal and gives unsigned artists air play on the playlist.”
“We trying to improve arts in our community by exposing them in the mass media giving them hope in their crafts. I urge the community to support this initiative and recognise our efforts in helping these artists,”said Nkosi.
