Parents protest at Tumelo Primary School
No gates shall be opened until the School principal answers their question.
Parents gathered at Tumelo Primary School at 6:30 to protest for the removal of the School Governing Body (SGB) and the school principal Mochudi.
Written on the placards include:
– stop supporting your families with kids feeding scheme food.
– forward with a better future for Tumelo.
– we won’t fix wrong with another wrong phantsi nge corruption.
– away with a filthy school
This protest according to one of the parents was triggered by the failure of the principal and the SGB to address their needs.
” We want a meeting to get answers on what is happening with the school funds and we want the principal to be removed immediately.”
Students and teachers are still not allowed to enter the school premise until the principal arrives.
The school principal has not yet arrived
A similar protest occurred at the school last year .
